Funeral service for Donald Lee "Donnie" Morgan, age 65 of Humboldt, will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Double Springs Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday from 11 AM 2 PM at the funeral home. He was born on May 22, 1956 to James A. and Nell F. Hammonds Morgan in Humboldt. Donnie attended the Maury City Church of God and he previously worked at NHC Nursing Home in Milan as Maintenance Director. Donnie is survived by his wife Janet Morgan of Humboldt, two daughters Staci Morgan of Bartlett and Jackie Morgan of Gibson, a stepdaughter Angela Marie of Bells, two stepsons Zachary Smith (Kristan) of Milan and Blake Smith (Serenity) of McLemoresville, five grandchildren Andrew Williams of Millington, Logan Terry of Newbern, Garrett Terry of Dyersburg, Kristin Cuevas of Springhill, TN and Anna Terry of Milan, eight great-grandchildren and two great-grandsons arriving soon and a sister Linda Fisher. Besides his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by a son Jason Ray Morgan and a sister Shelia Morgan Gray.
