Memorial service for Donald Ray Morris, age 67 of Atwood, will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Bodkin Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 12 – 2 PM. Mr. Morris was born on December 1, 1956, in McKenzie to R. B. and Birdie Lowe Morris and he passed away on February 19, 2024 at his residence. He was retired as a self-employed fencing contractor.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Morris of Atwood, three children Anthony Morris (Misty) of McKenzie, Dusty Morris (Tracy) of Bradford and Christy Morris (Jake Leatherwood) of Milan, one sister Billie Jo Morris of Trezevant, nine grandchildren MiKayla Morris, Dawson Morris, Carson Morris, Connor Morris, Tyler Vandiver, Alex Vandiver, Lauren Vandiver, Lexi Morris and Ellie Leatherwood and "baby girl" Chicka. Besides his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a son David Morris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kirkland Cancer Center in Jackson, TN.
