Donald Charles Pitts, age 74 of Milan, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 3, 2021, with his wife, Geri by his side. He was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi on July 17, 1946, to the late Charles and Corene Gilbreath Pitts. Don was a very loving, kind, gentle soul. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Don was an avid Elvis Presley fan and his favorite pastimes were fishing and watching football, especially the Chicago Bears. Don had the biggest smile that would brighten everyone's day. Sadly he will be so very much missed and forever in our hearts. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronald Charles Pitts, and his sister, Karen Balentine nee Pitts. He is survived by his wife Geri; sister, Barbara Ann White nee Pitts; brother, Cliff ( Theresa) Pitts; sons, David Pitts and Steven (Lisa) Pitts; grandchildren, Derik, Emma, Nick, Devin, and Abby Pitts. He also leaves many cherished nieces and nephews. A graveside service with military honors will take place at 11:00 AM Friday, April 9, 2021, at the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan with Rev.
