Obituary

Donna Davis Brown, age 76, of Bradford, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Union City, Tennessee.

Donna was born April 26, 1950, to the late McClinton “Bud” and Ruth Tomerlin Davis. A woman of strong faith and a loving heart, Donna was a faithful member of Antioch Church in Bradford. She was a retired school secretary and spent her life caring for and encouraging others.

Donna’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured every moment spent with those she loved. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered and cherished for generations to come. She had a special way of making those around her feel loved, welcomed, and cared for.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Scotty (Amy) Brown of Trenton; her daughter, Kristy (Brian) Mercer of Bradford; grandchildren, Caitlyn (Dillon) West, Seth (Ashlyn) Brown, LaMartez Brooks, Blair (Jonny) Lownsdale, and Hatcher Mercer; and great-grandchildren, Emmy Grace, Avery, Sawyer, and Harper.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard M. Brown, and her brother, Jimmy Davis.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that Donna’s earthly journey is complete and that she is now at peace. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 9, 2026, at Bodkin Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at White Hall Cemetery.

Donna will be lovingly remembered, deeply missed, and forever treasured by her family and friends.
