Funeral service for Donnie Eugene Coffman, age 78 of Lavinia, will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 2 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday from 11 am 2 pm at the funeral home. Donnie was born on April 1, 1944 to Jesse Lemons and Addie Mae Thomas Coffman in Lexington and he was retired from Tower Automotive. He is survived by his wife Cathy Coffman of Lavinia, daughters Tammy Jean Coffman of Jackson and Donna Leigh Bates of Alabama, a son Jeffery Don Coffman of Milan, a brother James Faye Coffman of Atwood and a grandson Michael David Bates of Alabama. Besides his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by a daughter Jessica Elaine Coffman, brothers Wayne Coffman, Cletus Coffman and Jerry Coffman and two sisters Doris Coleman and Dorothy Oliver.
