Funeral services for Doris Crocker Holmes, age 88 of Milan, will take place at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan, TN. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Doris was born June 26, 1936, to the late John and Cora Jenkins Crocker in Gibson County. She passed away August 29, 2024, at Jackson General Hospital.  Doris was a member of First Assembly of God in Milan. She retired from Milan Shirt Factory.

Doris is survived by two sons, David Holmes and wife Gail of Milan and Ricky Holmes of Humboldt; grandchildren, Melissa Little, Matt Holmes, Hannah Holmes, and Gabe Bracamonte; and great-grandchildren, Parker Holmes and Callie Holmes.

Besides her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Holmes, two brothers, Ross Crocker and Floyd Crocker; two sisters Maurine Tidwell and Betty Jean Tidwell; and a grandson, Zachary Holmes.
