Graveside services for Mrs. Doris Mae Knight, age 85 of Atwood, will take place at 11:00 AM Monday, October 12, 2020, at the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Lavinia. Visitation with the family will take place Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home. Mrs. Doris was a member of Atwood First Baptist Church. She was very active in celebrating veterans, where she participated in Veteran's Day and Memorial Day programs for many years. Surviving Family: Sons - Eric Knight and wife Jenna of Trezevant, TN, and Richard Knight, Jr and wife Laurie of Lavinia, TN Daughters - Eileen Dunbar of Atwood, TN and Elaine Boyd and husband Tony of Jackson, TN Grandchildren - 11 Great-Grandchildren - 21 She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Doris Walker Albro, husband Richard Knight, Sr, sister, Joyce Griener, and her son, Glenn Knight.
