Doris Jeanette Warren, 80 formerly of Lavinia, passed away on October 30, 2019 at Lexington Manor after a brief illness. She was born on October 3, 1939 to William F. and Brooksie Lee Pate Cherry in Trenton. Along with her husband, they owned and operated Warrens Grocery in Lavinia. She is survived by her daughter Wendy Starks of Lexington, a brother William Ray Cherry (Mary Elizabeth) of Trenton and a grandson Antonio Martezz Posey of Lexington. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Clifton Warren. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 1 3 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hopewell Cemetery in Lavinia. There will be no funeral services scheduled.
