Graveside services for Mr. Robert Douglas Baker, age 80 of Milan, will take place at 11:00 AM Monday, June 11, 2018, at the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be Monday morning from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Bodkin Funeral Home. Doug was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Milan, where he served as treasurer for 20 years and as a deacon. He served the city of Milan as alderman and vice mayor. Doug served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He sat on both the Library Board and Hospital Board. He loved and played many sports. Mr. Baker was a Little League in Milan coach for many years. Surviving Family: Wife - Barbara Jane Tipton Baker Daughter - Betsy Jane Baker Mr. Baker is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Elsie Owens Baker and a brother, Thomas Baker.
