Edward Vivian "E. V." Hillard, age 78 of Lavinia, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born on February 24, 1943 to Henry Clay and Lucille Davis Hillard in Oakfield, TN. E. V. was the owner and operator of the Southgate Gun Club in Lavinia and he was a member of the Milan First United Methodist Church. After graduating high school, he attended Lambuth University and served in his country in the U S Navy. E. V. is survived by his wife Angie Hillard, two sons Jimmy Thomas (Kelly) of Lavinia and Clint Hillard of Milan, a sister Madeline Hillard Shelton (George) of Sugar Tree, TN, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Warren Hillard and a sister Mary Martha Fallot. Funeral service for E. V. will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 1 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakfield Cemetery in Oakfield. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 11 AM until 1 PM at the funeral home.
