Edward Dean Harris, age 74 of Milan, passed away at NHC Healthcare on Friday, May 27, 2022, after an extended illness. He was born on February 16, 1948, in Humboldt to Charlie and Evie Mae White Harris. Ed was a retired carpenter and Primitive Baptist Minister. He was a member of the Harmony Primitive Baptist Church. He is survived by three children, John Harris (Dana) of Milan, Penny Hubble (Paul) of Milan, and Kristi Landy of Knoxville; and four grandchildren, Lucas Hubble of Milan, Mary Elizabeth Pate of Dyersburg, Kylie Jordan Campbell of Knoxville, and Kelly Shea Harris of Milan. Besides his parents, Ed was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Charles "Bobbie" and Charles Franklin, and a sister, Omega McCartney.
