Edna Irene Duncan, age 77 of Milan, passed away on March 18, 2021 at her home after an extended battle with cancer. Edna was born on February 4, 1944 to Miles Edward and Flossie Baird Shannon in the Milan community. She was a member of the Milan First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband James Duncan of Milan, two children Susan Folds (Tom) of Houston and Jason Duncan of Memphis, one brother Scotty Shannon of Milan, two sisters Gaye Overcast (Larry) of Humboldt and Linda Curry of Milan and three grandchildren Garrett Folds, Jadyn Folds and James Folds all of Houston. Besides her parents, Edna was preceded in death by a brother Donald Shannon and a sister Betty Dycus. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 12 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with entombment to follow in the Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
