Graveside service for Edna Naomi Evans Sherrod, age 99 of Milan, will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 1 pm at the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Edna was born on October 11, 1921 in Middleburg, TN to James Adams and Ada Bartholomew Teague. She was retired from the Milan Arsenal and she was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Milan. She is survived by three daughters Judy Stafford (Jimmy) of Sharon, Carolyn Brown of Milan and Cherry Carruth (Sammy) of Bradford, three grandchildren Mitzi Shepherd of Lexington, Michelle Myers of Martin and Kim Pride of Milan, five great grandchildren Bryce King of Jackson, Brittany Rauchle of Milan, Paige Wallace of New Port News, VA, Hayden Myers of New Port News, VA and Josh Martin of Milan and one great-great grandson Bennett King. Edna was preceded in death by her husband Howard Evans, parents James Adams Teague and Ada Bartholomew Teague, a brother Bill Teague and a sister Jimmie Doyle.
