Service for Elder William Ray Ward, age 82 of Milan, will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 2 pm at the Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pratt Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday from 12 - 2 pm at the funeral home. Elder Ward served as pastor of the Old Gibson Primitive Baptist Church in the Edison community. Surviving Family: Wife - Lillie J. Ward Son - Doug (Patricia) Ward Daughter - Anita (Randy) Thetford Grandchildren - Farrah Ferrell, Brian Ward, Adrienne Hinton, Allison Ary, Ashley Thetford Great Grandchildren - Dallas Ferrell and Kevin Ward Elder Ward was preceded in death by his first wife Ola Mae Ward, one daughter Doris Clenney, and six brothers and sisters.
