Etty Esther Geyra, 68, of Milan, passed away peacefully at her home on September 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Etty was born August 25, 1958, in Haifa, Israel, to the late Julius Bruker and Klara Moshe Bruker. She was a retired banker who took great pride in her work and in the many relationships she built throughout her life.

Etty had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She never met a stranger, and it seemed that everyone she encountered became family before long. She was a wonderful cook and gracious hostess who found great joy in gathering the people she loved around her table. She also enjoyed collecting decorative plates and loved spending time line dancing at the Senior Center.

Above all, Etty treasured her family. She leaves behind her loving husband, David Geyra of Milan; her son, Sivan Geyra (Nicole Harrison) of Baltimore, Maryland; her daughter, Lee Fumia (Anthony) of Milan; her brother-in-law, David Cohen; and her beloved grandchildren, John Fumia, Hazel Geyra, Klara Fumia, Eliana Fumia, and Taliah Fumia.

In addition to her parents, Etty was preceded in death by her sister, Shoshi Rose Cohen.

Etty will be remembered for her generous heart, warm hospitality, wonderful cooking, infectious love of life, and the remarkable way she welcomed everyone into her family. Her love and laughter will remain with all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Milan at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
