Funeral services for Frances Rose Potter, age 84 of Milan, will take place at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Milan with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Mrs. Potter was born April 9, 1938, to the late Bernard and Viola Kappis Bilz. She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Milan. Frances owned and operated Potter's Shoe Store in Milan for 50 years. Surviving Family - Daughter - Joy Fowler and husband Bobby of Milan, TN Sister - Elizabeth Bilz of Florence, KY She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her husband Elgie E. Potter; a brother, Bernard Bilz; sisters, Mary Cook and Margaret Moeller. Memorials may be directed to St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
