Funeral service for Mrs. Freida Bridges, age 95 of Humboldt, will be held 2pm Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pm Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bridges was a member of the Sitka Church of Christ and retired from the Milan Arsenal. Surviving Family: Sons - Travis Bridges of Humboldt and Terry Bridges of Humboldt Daughter - Glenda Holt (Arnold) of Milan Sister - Marian Williams of Pompano Beach, FL Grandchildren - 13 Great Grandchildren - 19 Great Great Grandchildren - 24 She is preceded in death by her husband, Buford Bridges, parents, Claude and Mamie Dodd Inman, brothers, Rudolph, Garthel and Paul Inman, and sisters, Iris Bennett and Shirley Banks. The family requests memorials be directed to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
