Gail May Dickson, age 76 of Atwood, passed away on August 15, 2024, at NHC Healthcare after an extended illness. She was born in McLemoresville on August 20, 1947, to Edred and Sylveain Cochran McMackins. She attended the McLemoresville Baptist Church and retired from Wilson Sporting Goods in Humboldt.

She is survived by her husband Doug Dickson of Atwood, a son Jason Flatt of Texas, a stepson Brent Dickson (Tiffany) of Milan and a step-daughter Christy Dickson of Milan, one brother Ronnie McMackins of Nashville, two grandchildren Summer Oliver and Kaylee Dickson both of Milan and two great grandchildren Brynleigh Dickson and Serenity Fitzpatrick both of Milan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Dale McMackins.

No services are scheduled for Mrs. Dickson at this time.
