Gary Devon Fry, who was born on March 9, 1958, to the late Travis and Reba Joyce Fry in Milan, Tennessee, and passed away on April 14, 2026, at Jackson General Hospital, will be remembered with love by all who knew him.

Gary graduated from Humboldt High School with the class of 1976, and he went on to build a life marked by dedication and perseverance. He retired from construction work after several years, and his career reflected the dependable and hardworking nature for which he was known. He took pride in doing a job well and understood the value of effort, responsibility, and commitment.

Outside of work, Gary found great joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing, and these interests gave him many peaceful and memorable moments over the years. Whether he was spending time in the woods, along the water, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of nature, he found contentment in the traditions he cherished. These pastimes were more than hobbies to him, as they were part of the life he loved and the memories he created with those closest to him.

Family was an important part of Gary's life, and he will be deeply missed by those who survive him. He is survived by his son, Cory Fry and Karlie of Medina; his daughter, Brittni Fry of Hoenwald, Tennessee; his brothers, Tony Fry and Belinda of Springville, Tennessee, and Ricky Fry and Sue of College Grove, Tennessee; and his grandson, Zachary Watkins. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and the bond they shared will continue to be treasured in the years ahead. His family will remember his steady presence, his love, and the many ways he showed he cared.

Funeral services will take place at 12:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Hemann officiating. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
