Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Gayle Plunk, age 61 of Trenton, will take place at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will take place Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Gayle was a member of First General Baptist Church in Milan. She attended the Church of God in Trenton. Gayle retired from nursing where she worked at NHC in Milan and Bailey Park Nursing Home in Humboldt. Surviving Family: Mother - Betty Pillow and husband Herman of Milan, TN Husband - Michael Plunk of Trenton, TN Son - Robert "Ben" Nelson of Huntingdon, TN Daughters - Amanda Gail Nelson of Milan, TN and Shelly Crawford of Milan, TN Brothers - Terry Taylor and wife Debbie of Peach Tree, GA, Anthony Vester and wife Kris of Jackson, TN, and Kevin Vester and wife Rachael of Medina, TN Sister - Debra Browning and husband Dudley of Milan, TN Grandchildren - Ariana Crawford and Owen Nelson Gayle is preceded in death by her father, Charles Kenneth Vester, and a son, Adam.
