Gloria Elizabeth Creswell Jones, age 94 of Milan, passed away on November 27, 2020 at Northbrook Healthcare in Jackson. Gloria was born on September 3, 1926 to Herman Charles and Lallie Mai Sims Creswell. She was a member of the First United Methodist in Milan and she was a former member of the Milan First United Presbyterian USA Church where she was very active. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Ralph Jones, Sr., a brother Herman Charles Creswell and a sister Martha Alexander. Gloria is survived by two children John R. Jones, Jr. (Doreen) of Milan and Kathy Jones Carroll (Chris) of Jackson, a sister Betty McKelvy of Port Isabel, TX, six grandchildren Harris Jones of Memphis, Jennifer Chaney (Jon) of Murfreesboro, Julie Davis (Brad) of Milan, Lee Maness (Bethany) of Brentwood, Jonathan Carroll (Rachel) of Knoxville and Katey Carroll of Jackson ten great grandchildren and one great grandchild to be born soon. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 11 am at Oakwood Cemetery. There will be no public visitation prior to her service. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis.
