Graveside services for Mrs. Grace Josephine Alexander West, age 93 of Gibson, will take place at 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at the Double Springs Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be at Bodkin Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm Wednesday prior to the graveside service. Mrs. Grace was a member of Double Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She retired from the cafeteria for Gibson School and later Gibson County School after working for over twenty years. She also retired from the United States Postal Service where she worked as a clerk. Surviving Family: Son - Alex Bledsoe and wife Valette Daughter - Jo Carol Crisp and husband Jim Grandchildren - Amanda, Tess, Jacob, Charlie, and Amelia Great Grandson - Oliver She is also survived by many dearly loved nieces and nephews. Mrs. West is preceded in death by her parents, James Nolan Alexander and Ida Cunningham Alexander, husband, Audie (A.C.) West, and a son, Charles Stuart Bledsoe.
