Funeral service for Harold Edward Adams, age 76 of Lavinia, will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Bodkin Funeral Home at 2 PM with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday evening from 5 – 8 PM and on Tuesday from 12 – 2 PM at the funeral home.

Harold was born on June 22, 1948, in Humbolt to Virgil and Birdie Cummings Adams. He became a very successful insurance agent and continued in that industry until his retirement. He graduated from Gibson High School, and he was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Milan.

He is survived by two children Philip Adams of Lavinia and Angie Walters (Shane) of Humboldt, two sisters Bobbie Campbell of Gadsden and Edith Wilcox of Weatherford, TX, three grandchildren Brittany London (Chad) of Gibson, Dakota Adkisson (Makala) of Milan and Haley Walters (Peyton Stone) of Gibson, six great-grandchildren Jase Wall, Jett Wall, Jaxx Wall, Daniel Hayes Stone, Sawyer Grace Stone and Canaan Timberlake, three step great grandchildren, Chase, Carson, and Mattie London. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife Majorie Adams, two brothers Jack Adams and Floyd Adams, a sister Gladys Qualls and a great-grandchild Braxton Adkisson.
