Funeral services for Helen Murrell Coffman, age 89 of Lavinia, will take place at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 7, 20201, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hopewell Cemetery in Lavinia. Visitation with the family will Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Born to the late William Boyd Capps and Delilah McCormick Capps on July 8, 1931, near Idlewild, Mrs. Coffman lived in the area most of her life. She worked several years at the Milan Shirt Factory and also cooked in several restaurants in the area. Mrs. Helen was Baptist by faith. Surviving Family: Sons - Jimmy Coffman and wife Gail of Lavinia, Johnny Coffman of Lavinia, and Joel Coffman of Lavinia Daughter - Jackie Dover of Trenton Grandchildren - 9 Great Grandchildren - 18 Great Great Grandchildren - 4 Besides her parents, Mrs. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Coffman and two brothers, Gerald Capps and James Capps.
