Helen P. Simons, age 93 of Milan, passed away on November 13, 2020 at her residence in Milan after an extended illness. She was born in Milan on September 23, 1927 to Roba and Edna Leach Pugh. Helen was a 60 year member of the Main Street Church of Christ and she was retired from Leach Brothers Lumber Company in Bradford where she worked as a bookkeeper. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Robert Simons of Milan and nieces and nephews Donna Copous, Shelly Basshart, Amy Fischer, Judy Baites, Jamie Pottberg and James Baites. Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by one brother James Pugh. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Main Street Church of Christ in Milan with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan.
