Funeral service for Mr. Ike Rainey, age 80 of Atwood, will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 2pm at the First Baptist Church in Atwood with burial to follow in the Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood. Visitation with the family will be held Friday evening from 5 until 8pm at the church. Mr. Rainey was a tool and die maker who worked for Calmat Corp. He retired back to Atwood, where he and his wife Patricia made their home for the last 17 years. He was a deacon in the First Baptist Church in Atwood, and was also a deaconin the Bethany Baptist Church in California. Surviving Family: Wife - Patricia Rainey Son - Mark Rainey (Jan) Brothers - Kenneth Rainey (Ruby) and Joe Rainey (Kathryn) all from Atwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Carl Rainey and Ruba Thomas Rainey.
