Funeral service for Mr. J. L. Bobbitt, age 87 of Milan, will be held at 2pm on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the White Rose Cemetery near Gibson. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday evening from 5 8pm at the funeral home. Mr. Bobbitt was a member of the Gibson Baptist Church. He was a retired R&D worker of the Volunteer Leather Company in Milan. Mr. Bobbitt was a member of the TN Beagle Club and a Past President of the Milan Saddle Club. Surviving Family: Sons Johnny Bobbitt, Bobby Bobbitt (Lisa), Mike Bobbitt, Ronald Bobbitt (Trish) and Frank Bobbitt (Cindy) 7 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Mae Bobbitt, parents Luster and Mamie Hammonds Bobbitt, daughter in law Shirley Bobbitt and a sister Doris Bobbitt Langford.
