Jackie Lynne Connell, 62, Milan Tennessee, went to be with the Lord Friday, December 25th, 2020. She passed away at her family home in Milan after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 15th, 1958 in Milan to John and Jo Ann Connell. She was the youngest of four children. She attended KD McKellar Elementary School in Milan, Somerville Elementary School, and Fayette Academy in Somerville, Tennessee, graduating in 1976. She was a varsity cheerleader and participated in various clubs and school activities. To the many friends there she is remembered as a leader and outgoing, energetic classmate. Upon graduation, she attended Austin Peay State University and was an active member of Chi Omega Sorority. She completed her Bachelors degree at the University of Southern Mississippi. Jackie was a lifelong member of Concord Cumberland Presbyterian Church, always quick to bear her testimony of the Savior. She was devoted to her family and was a doting aunt. She is survived by her mother, Jo Ann Connell, brothers Tommy Connell (Raydeen) and Clay Connell (Cyndi), nephew Stacey Connell (Sandra) and nieces Courtney Cooper (Jason), Cati Connell, Rachel Abegg (Davin), Emily Guthrie (Chris), Madeline Wheelwright (JJ), two great nephews, and eleven great nieces. She is preceded in death by her father, John Connell and infant brother Ritchie. Due to current restrictions, a celebration of life for Jackies family and friends will be held at a future date as determined and announced by her immediate family.
