Funeral service for Mr. James Harold Cavaness, age 72 of Milan, will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 2pm at Bodkin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Davidson Chapel Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday evening after 5pm at the funeral home. Mr. Cavaness was a retired electrician with the Windsor Corporation. He was a member of the Davidson Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as a Sunday School Teacher and an Elder. Surviving Family: Wife - Barbara Cavaness Son - Dale Cavaness (Marcie) Daughter - Debbie Cavaness Brothers - Charles Cavaness and Billy Cavaness Sister - Helen Taylor Grandchildren - Taylor Cavaness and Ella Cavaness He was preceded in death by a sister Erline Batchelor.
