A private family-only graveside service for Mr. James Travis Curry, age 81 of Humboldt, will take place at 1:00 PM Monday, March 30, 2020, at Peace Chapel Cemetery in Scotts Hill, TN. A private family-only visitation will take place Monday from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Bodkin Funeral Home. Mr. Curry was a member of Moore's Chapel United Methodist Church near Milan. He worked at ITT in Milan, retired from the Milan Arsenal, and worked on air conditioning units for several years. Mr. Curry was a 30 plus year veteran of the TN National Guard. He was also a member of the Milan Masonic Lodge. Surviving Family: Wife - Shirley Mulvaney Curry of Humboldt, TN Sons - James Timothy Curry and wife Gena of Gibson, TN, Troy D. Curry and wife Rita of Medina, TN, and step-son, Beau James Eddings and wife Kristi of Dyer, TN Daughters - Tammy Lynn Nelson and fiance Keith of Milan, TN, Tina Marie Curry of Cades, TN, Andrea Karen Mullikin and husband Coy of Humboldt, TN, and step-daughter, DeAnne Marie Hall of Dyer, TN Brother - Robert Leon Curry and wife Cathy of Humboldt, TN Sisters - Laura McCartney of Milan, TN and Peggy Allmon and husband Louis of Milan, TN Grandchildren - 14 and 7 step-grandchildren He also had several great-grandchildren. Mr. Curry is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Carmon Curry and Verna Rimmer Curry, and step-son, Wade Andrew Eddings. Memorials may be directed to Moore's Chapel United Methodist Church.
