James Hardin, age 84 of Milan, passed away May 17, 2024, at his home in Milan. James was born to the late Claude and Aline Pipkin Hardin October 21, 1939, in rural Madison County, TN.

Jim was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Milan. He retired from construction and operated Hardin Acoustical. He was a successful business owner, a friend to everyone and well-known and respected fisherman. He would lend a helping hand to everyone. Jim was very active with his church, including service, maintenance, and mission trips.

Daughters - Annette Nixon (Kevin) and Janet Hardin

Brothers - Gary Hardin and David Hardin

Sisters - Mary Lee Laster and Janie Rollin

Great-Grandchildren - 28

Besides his parents, Jim is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hardin, and a sister, Ann Markham.

A celebration of life will take place a later date.
