Funeral service for Mr. James Carter "J. C." Chandler, age 77 of Milan, will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2018 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 5 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Chandler was a member of the Milan United Pentecostal Church. He was born in Linden, TN on June 30, 1941 to Theophilus and Geneva Curtis Chandler. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death a brother Jessie Chandler, a sister Doris Chandler and one great-grandchild. He is survived by his wife Sue Chandler, three daughters Deborah Garrett of Milan, Barbara Quick (Harvey, Jr.) of Milan and Rhonda Swindell (Ronnie) of Milan, four brothers David Chandler of Atwood, Jimmy Chandler of Trenton, Cecil Chandler of Milan and Paul Chandler of Trezevant, one sister Lula Woodall of Lavinia, five grandchildren Jason Lewis of Hendersonville, Crystal Garrett (Scottie) of Medina, Harmony Winsett of Milan, Kristen Farrell of Milan and Katelyn Swindell of Milan and fourteen great-grandchildren.
