Funeral service for Mr. James Clark McAlexander, age 94 of Milan, will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 11 am at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Lavinia. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday evening from 4 - 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. McAlexander was a member of the Church of God Church for over 60 years and he was a retired Plumber with the Milan Arsenal. He served his country in WW II serving in the U S Army. Mr. McAlexander is survived by his daughter, Shirley Faye Taylor (John David) of Chelsea, MI, two grandsons Fred Gerster and J. P. Gerster and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Louise McAlexander, parents John Hersey and Nannie Sue Clark McAlexander, brothers Adrian McAlexander, Jessie McAlexander and Ray McAlexander, and two sisters Maggie Sue McAlexander and Intheis McAlexander.
