Mr. James H. (Dash) Williams, age 90 of Jackson, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020. Mr. Williams was a retired American General insurance agent and lived in Milan for most of his life. He had the gift of helps and was available to family and friends at any hour and for any reason. He loved to find the silver lining in each situation and would point it out if needed. In accordance with the current pandemic, funeral services for family only will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2020 at Bodkin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include Joel Walker, Alex Williams, Jess Williams, Caleb Butler, Ryan Thompson, Taylor Walker (honorary), Austin Vinson (honorary). Mr. Williams was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Milan, TN. He loved to encourage others to believe in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. He shared his faith in Jesus Christ even during his final days. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by parents William Govenor (Mr. Buck) and Minnie Lou Williams, and sisters Norene Scott and Evelyn Parker. Mr. Williams is survived by his daughter, Chris Frazier of Medina, TN and son, Dennis Williams (Carolyn) of Jackson, TN, grandchildren Jill Walker of Medina, TN, Joel Walker (Lori) of Jackson, TN, Alex Williams (Tiffany) of Jackson, TN and Jess Williams of Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Williams leaves behind 6 great-grandchildren, 4 bonus great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild (with 2 more soon to arrive) very close friend Nancy Browning of Milan, and caregiver Dorothy Martin. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending memorial contributions to the church or evangelistic organization of your choice.
