Memorial service for Mr. James Arthur "Jim" Wood, age 76 of Trenton, will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Bodkin Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 12 2 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Wood was born on April 18, 1943 in Macksville, NC to Chester A. and Dovie Williams Wood and he was a retired electrician. He is survived by three daughters Janet Wright (Ronnie) of Dyer, Pam Boyce of Milan and Lisa Carroll (Dan) of Dyer, one brother Jessie Clark Wood (Debbie) of Ohio, two sisters Sue Casey of Trenton and Judy Mealer of Boling Green, KY, three grandchildren Craig Barton of Medina, Veronica ODaniel of Dyer and Jeffery Dwight Graves II of Rutherford and four great grandchildren Ashley ODaniel, Adyson Barton, Parker Barton and Joseph ODaniel. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Lee Wood and a sister Marie Wood Armstrong. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the West TN Veterans Home in Humboldt, TN.
