Funeral service for Mr. Jerry Alton Coffman, age 79 of Atwood, will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 12 2 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Coffman was born on December 25, 1941 to Jessie and Addie Thomas Coffman in the Lexington community. He was retired from Tower Automotive and he served his country in the U S Navy during the Vietnam War. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Mark A. Coffman, a daughter Molly Whitley, two brothers Wayne Coffman and Cletus Coffman and two sisters Dorothy Oliver and Doris Coleman. Jerry is survived by his wife Linda Coffman, daughters Valorie Frazee of Eva, Susan Ripley of Lavinia and Selena Hamlett of Pope, MS, two sons Robert Bryan Odon (Tonya) of Mississippi and Thomas Dale Odom (Crystal) of Lobelville, TN, two brothers Donnie Coffman of Lavinia and James Coffman of Atwood, thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great granddaughter arriving soon.
