Jerry Don Rimmer, age 75 of Milan, passed away on October 26, 2020 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on August 3, 1945 to Floyd and Virginia Bell Rimmer in Milan. He was a member of the Milan Cumberland Presbyterian Church and he was the past owner of Jerry Rimmers Auto Repair. Jerry is survived by two sons Chris Rimmer (Stephanie) of Milan and Marc Rimmer (Sonyia) of Naples, FL, a brother Richard Rimmer (Sandra) of Southaven, MS, one sister Gladys Davis (Jerry) of Martin, five grandchildren Johnathan Rimmer (Morgan) of South Fulton, Logan Rimmer (Hailey) of Covington, Jacob Rimmer of Milan, Cameron Rimmer of Naples, FL and Alec Rimmer of Milan and three great-grandchildren Andrew and Mason Rimmer both of South Fulton and Ethan Nelson of Naples, FL. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Clyde Rimmer and Alvin Rimmer. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will be held following the visitation.
