Funeral services for Mr. Jesse L. Mitchell, age 84 of Atwood, will be held 11am Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Dresden. Visitation with the family will be held from 5pm until 8pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Mitchell retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service. Jesse is survived by his wife; Rhonda Mitchell, sons; Michael Mitchell (Candy) of Taunton, MA, Jesse Mitchell, Jr (Erin) of Baton Rouge, LA, Jeffrey Mitchell (Jamie) Cleveland, TN, daughter; Bonnie Territo (Jim) of Baton Rouge, LA, sister; Gerline Mansfield (Garry) of Dresden, numerous cousins, and longtime friends Jim and Jane Rooker. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Lillian Hutcheson Mitchell, sister, Frances Farrow, and his beloved dog Abby.
