Funeral service for Joe Kidd Rainey, age 49 of Atwood, will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 2 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pisgah Cemetery in Atwood. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday evening from 5 8 pm at the funeral home. Joe Kidd was born in Milan on October 4, 1972 to Joe C. and Katherine Morris Rainey. He was a member of the Atwood First Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter Christina Rainey of Atwood, parents Joe C. and Katherine Rainey of Atwood, a sister Jan Reynold (Ronnie) of Greenfield, two brothers Michael Powell (Lori) of Trezevant and Kevin Ray of Knoxville and one granddaughter Lillian Rainey Powers of Atwood.
