Funeral service for Mr. John Wayne Turnbo, age 67 of Milan, will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 2 pm at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday from 12 2 pm at the funeral home. He was born on March 9, 1952 to John William and Janie Yarboro Turnbo in Decaturville, TN. He was a member of the Locust Grove Church of Christ and he was a lifelong farmer. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Frances Turnbo, an infant son, two brothers A. D. Turnbo and William Turnbo and three sisters Linda Martin, Zelma Shelton and Christine Turnbo. Mr. Turnbo is survived by his wife Carolyn Turnbo of Milan, two daughters Joanie Weeks (Brent) of Milan and Christy Astuto (David) of Atwood, two step children Brandon Reynolds (Amber) of Bradford and Robyn Staggs (Mason) from Florida, two sisters Catherine Martin of Milan and Willie Mae DePriest of Milan, three grandchildren Janna Weeks and Jacob Weeks both of Milan and John Astuto of Atwood, and five step grandchildren Kaitlyn Reynolds, Braxton Reynolds, Ashlyn Reynolds and Aubrey Reynolds all of Bradford and Griffin Staggs from Florida.
