Johnny Mack "Mickey" Brasher, age 80 of Milan, passed away on April 21, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a short illness. Mickey was born on August 23, 1939 to William Doss and Mabel Chandler Brasher. He attended the Fairview Church of Christ and had formerly served as a Deacon at the Main Street Church of Christ. He was retired from Ceco Door Products in Milan and he served his country in the National Guard for 27 years. Besides his parents, Mickey was preceded in death by his wife Dianne Childress Brasher, a brother Charles Brasher and a sister Carol Ferree. He is survived by two sons David Brasher (Jeanie) of Lavinia and Steve Brasher (Joy) of Milan, four grandchildren Wil Brasher (Cassie) of Jackson, Julie Davis (Dylan) of Milan and Joshua Brasher and Noah Brasher both of Lavinia and one great granddaughter Mackenzie Davis of Milan. A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday April 25, 2020 at the Leach Cemetery in Cedar Grove. There will be no public visitation prior to the service.
