Johnny Quillen, age 72 of Covington, TN, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Covington. He was born August 31, 1952, to the late Mayhue and Imogene Quillen.

Johnny grew up in Milan. He married Linda Johnson Quillen August 24, 1974, at First Baptist Church in Milan at the age of 21. Johnny and Linda had one daughter, Maria, on July 19, 1975. He enjoyed watching Nascar and wrestling, working on dirt cars for Chad Martin, going to Jesse James caves, and going to Milan Football games.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Linda Quillen; brother, Leonard (Harolyn) Quillen; sister, Betty Romines; aunt, Shirley Edwards; daughter, Maria Quillen; two granddaughters, Jessica (William) and Renee (Matthew); and four great grandchildren, Kyndall, Eli, Matilynn, and Leo.

Besides his parents, Johnny is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Billy Romines.

Johnny Papaw will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank you all for the prayers and support during this time.

Funeral services will take place at 1:00 PM Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Milan Cemetery in Centerville, TN. Interment will take place at 3:30 PM at Milan Cemetery in Centerville. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
