Funeral services for Joyce Annette Rimmer, age 87 of Milan, will take place at 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Milan First Assembly Church with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan.  Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.

Mrs. Joyce was born on May 18,1937, to the late William Claude and Beulah Hester Logan in Leighton, AL. She passed away November 30, 2024, at Milan General Hospital. Mrs. Rimmer retired from the Milan Army Ammunition Plant. She enjoyed volunteering at local nursing homes and working in the local elections. She was a long-time faithful member of First Assembly Milan.

Sons - Dennis, Kevin, Benton (Angie), and Daniel Rimmer

Daughters - Pamela (Jim), Delana (Eddy), and Becky

Brother - Maurice (Jean) Logan

Grandchildren - 17

Great Grandchildren - 28

Besides her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Rimmer; a daughter-in-law, Sally Rimmer; son-in-law, Burl Tidwell; four brothers; and six sisters.
