The funeral service for Juanita Ann Algee Taylor, age 93 of Milan, will be held at Bodkin Funeral Home on Thursday, February 15, at 12:00 noon. Visitation with the family will be from 10:30 am to 12 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Milan. Mrs. Taylor was born on November 14, 1924 to the late Yancey and Verdie Vawter Algee in Milan, TN and was educated in the Milan School System. She was married to Edward L. Taylor for 53 years until he passed away in 1996. She worked and retired from ITT. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Milan and the Milan Garden Club. Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Taylor Johnson of Rogers, AR, and Gloria Taylor of Milan and one son, Edward L. Taylor, Jr. (Nita Kaler) of Milan, three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Taylor had one sister, Cherry, and three brothers, Jimmie, Murphy and Robert Jerry Algee. All are deceased. Memorials in her honor may be directed to the First Baptist Church Building Fund in Milan, TN.
