Julia Faye Treadwell, 77, passed away on October 19, 2026, at her residence after an extended illness.

Born on September 12, 1949, in Tomato, Arkansas, Julia Faye Treadwell lived a life centered on family and the enduring bonds she shared with those closest to her. She was a member of the Gann Community Church, and she retired from Whirlpool of Jackson.  She will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Treadwell; her father, John Henry Patterson; her mother, Betty Gifford Patterson; and her sister, Virginia McGarrity.

Julia’s memory will be cherished by her daughter, Melissa Treadwell Wheeler and her husband, John, of Trezevant; her grandson, Dalton Hicks and his wife, Hannah, of Milan; and her brothers, James Patterson and Henry Patters. The love of her family stands as a lasting tribute to her life, and her presence will remain deeply felt in their hearts in the days ahead.

Visitation will be held on October 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Bodkin Funeral Home, 2000 N 1st St, Milan, Tennessee 38358. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Bodkin Funeral Home.  She will be laid to rest in the Pratt Cemetery near Milan.

Julia Faye Treadwell will be remembered with affection and respect, and her life will continue to be honored in the memories of her family and friends.
