Funeral service for Katherine Lee Rainey, age 81 of Atwood, will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 12 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pisgah Cemetery near Atwood. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 5 – 8 PM and on Wednesday from 10 AM – 12 PM at the funeral home.

Katerine was born on August 29, 1943, in Greenfield to Shannon and Mildred Wheeler Morris. She retired from Foamex in Milan, and she was a member of the Poplar Springs Batist Church.

She is survived by two children Mike Powell (Lori) of Trezevant and Jan Reynolds (Ronnie) of Greenfield, one sister Patricia Puckett of Greenfield, four grandchildren Jennifer Goad, Shannon Goad, Ashley Powell and Chrstina Rainey, five great grandchildren Lillian Rainey, Maley Stevens, Jonathan Davidson, Bryer Montgomery and Sara Goad and one great great grandson John Carroll Davidson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Clifton Rainey, a son Joe Kidd Rainey and one brother James Morris.
