Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Kay Kemp, age 78 of Atwood, will take place at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hopewell Cemetery in Lavina. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Kay was a retired teacher, working at West Carroll for over 40 years. She was a lifelong member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Lavinia where she played the piano and sang for many years. Surviving Family: Husband - Sonny Kemp of Atwood Step Daughter - Melani Sidwell and husband Barry of Jackson, TN Grandchildren - Julian White of the USMC, Annalisa White, and Jacks Sidwell She also leaves 3 nephews and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Kay is preceded in death by her parents, James and Louise Lippard DePriest, and a brother, Bardie Ray DePriest. Memorials may be directed to Hopewell Baptist Church in Lavinia.
