Funeral services for Kenneth Waine Huey, age 88 of Milan, will take place at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Milan Vineyard Church with burial to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Milan.  Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the church and from 10:00 AM until service time Thursday.

Mr. Ken was born to the late Robert and Lavinia Parker Huey in Dyersburg, TN on January 28, 1937. He passed away surrounded by family at his Milan home on August 3, 2025.  Ken was a Korean War veteran. He entered the war closer to the rebuilding stage where he installed telecommunication equipment. That led to him working for ITT and in 1978 forming his own company where he installed telecommunication infrastructure in several states. Ken was an ordained elder at the Milan Vineyard Church and was very involved in ministry. He was dedicated family man and will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.

Ken is survived by a son, John Huey and wife Dawn of Milan; daughter, Tracey Gregory and husband Sam of Milan; sister, Harriett Osborne of Washington; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Ken is preceded in death by his wife, Julia Huey and a brother, David Huey.
