Funeral service for Mr. Kenneth Eugene Jones, age 97 of Milan, will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Double Springs Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 12 2 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Jones was born on March 31, 1924 to John Howard and Erdia Patterson Jones in McKenzie. He was a member of the Milan Cumberland Presbyterian Church and he retired from I.R.C. Corporation in Spring Grove, IL. Mr. Jones served in World War II in the South Pacific as a Navy Seabee. Mr. Jones is survived by his brothers and sisters Stanley Jones, James David Jones, Edward Jones, Dorothy Popelka, Lynn Toy and Susan Hudnall and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary E. Jones, two brothers B. M. Jones and Paul Jones and two sisters Laverne Kelley and Gladys Williamson.
