Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Jiles McMinn, age 89 of Lavinia, will take place at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Double Springs Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Bro. Steve Osborn will officiate the service.

Kenneth was born in Lavinia on July 23, 1936, to the late Clifford and Irma Replogle McMinn. He passed away April 19, 2026, at Jackson General Hospital. Kenneth was a dedicated member of Lavinia Baptist Church where he formerly served as a deacon. He was a retired mechanic and loved working on lawn mowers and other small engines. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Rebecca Langford McMinn of Lavina; sons, Phillip McMinn and wife Brenda of Lavinia, Chris McMinn of Lavina, and Jim McMinn and wife Dana of Huntingdon; grandsons Eric McMinn and wife Brittany and Ryan McMinn and wife Britney; great grandchildren, Sophie and Sadie McMinn; brother, Ronald Orson McMinn; and sisters, Rebecca Hefner, Brenda Riddle, Sandra Kay Dees, Marilyn Hicks Smith, and Margaret Carter. He also leaves a host of step-children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Elaine McMinn; brothers, Aaron McMinn, Joseph Glen McMinn, Danny McMinn, and Gene McMinn; two step-daughters and step-son.
